Polaroid takes place on the first Friday of every month in an old re-developed Victorian basement named the Wire club. We are based around the vibe of quality electronic music; from dubby, wonky disco to acid house but always with the emphasis of creating a real party atmosphere. Polaroid was the first club night in Leeds to showcase Brodinski, Annie Mac, Infadels, Boys Noize and Simian Mobile Disco as well as regularly playing host to the likes of Optimo, Erol Alkan, Riton, DFA, JoJo De Freq and Headman. Our aim is to bring quality, fresh underground electronic acts to the intimate and friendly surroundings of the Wire club coupled with an electric atmosphere unrivalled anywhere else in the city.
