Pastor Anthony Charles Williams II (PKA Tonex™) is an enigma to many but no one can deny his five fold ministry. He is a prolific teacher, preacher, evangelist and prophet of God. He specializes in deliverance, re-establishment of order, and flat-footed preaching of the unadulterated Word of God.
Called to preach at 13 years old in front of KFC, he ran from his calling for 3 years. At 16 years of age he began preaching the Word like he was 40 years old. He was drilled with the Word by his parents the late District Elder A.C. Williams Sr., and the late Dr. E.B. Williams. He studied under Bishop Paddock, Gillette Grantonz, Iona Locke & Noel Jones.
At the age of 19 he became a state licensed minister in the P.A.W. ( pentecostal assemblies of the world ) and became the youth pastor at Truth Apostolic Community church. He spoke at the National Convention in 2000 where was anointed and ordained as an Elder and Nationally Licensed minister for the P.A.W. by Former Presiding Prelate the Late Bishop Norman L. Wagner.
By 24 he became assistant pastor of Truth Apostolic Community Church while still preaching around the country and touring as Gospel Superstar TONEX™. He has always called himself a preacher "first" who happens to sing. And he has sung his way into the hearts of millions with hit the songs God has not 4got , Personal Jesus and Lord Make Me Over topping the Gospel and R&B charts alike.
Currently he serves as Senior Pastor of Authority Apostolic Assembly. The ministry is a growing establishment of all walks of life that need a raw Word for an explicit society. To date it is the only Radically Inclusive Apostolic Affirming Church in Greater San Diego.
" I love pastoring, I really do. At first I wasn't sure, but I really do have a heart for God people.", says Pastor Williams
Having preached over 500 sermons to date , this young man shows no sign of stopping at tearing down the kingdom of darkness through the power of the Holy Ghost for Jesus Christ. His favorite scripture sums everything up Psalms 27:
1The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
2When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.
3Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident.
4One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple.
