Update 12/7/09: FYI regarding tonight's show!
The show scheduled for 12/7 has been postponed, as one guest is sick, and Al is having plumbing issues at home...not that kind, the septic tank kind! (Trust me, you don't want to know) We are going to reschedule the NHL Roundtable for Monday, 12/21/09.--------- Please remember we're moving the show's start time from 11 PM to 9 PM as of next Monday, 12/14/09. We think it'll be more convenient for both guests and listeners!
Here's our written in pencil guest list for the next few weeks:
Dec. 14: Gregory Shamus, one of the best sports photographers you’ll ever know (Getty Images, Pittsburgh Penguins, Red Wings, Cleveland Cavaliers, and others); don’t forget—this will be our first 9:00 show!
12/21: NHL Central roundtable with Bleacher Report writers from Columbus, Chicago, Nashville, and St. Louis.
We're doing our best to book guests every week, so please check back at the show page (or check our Twitter feed!) to see who will turn up on our next podcast!
Remember, The Knee Jerks have a Twitter account for our weekly podcast! It's Twitter.com/TheKneeJerks. You'll get the latest on guest news and show reminders, so please follow!
Expect bigger and better shows (and guests) as we go on, so make sure you tune in every Monday night when The Knee Jerks get down to Detroit sports business!
We will continue talk all things Detroit sports every Monday night from 11PM to sometime between 12:30-1:00AM. (Hey, we like to talk!) We're working hard to bring you the best in Detroit sports talk!
If you miss our live broadcast, not to worry. You can download our podcast after the fact, via our Blog Talk Radio page, RSS feed, the Zune Marketplace, and, of course, iTunes!
Thanks for listening, Greg Eno and Al Beaton, aka The Knee Jerks.

View thousands of films from the Prelinger Archives!
Prelinger Archives was founded in 1983 by Rick Prelinger in New York City. Over the next twenty years, it grew into a collection of over 60,000 "ephemeral" (advertising, educational, industrial, and amateur) films. In 2002, the film collection was acquired by the Library of Congress, Motion Picture, Broadcasting and Recorded Sound Division. Prelinger Archives remains in existence, holding approximately 5,000 titles on videotape and a large collection of home movies, amateur and industrial films acquired since 2002. Its goal remains to collect, preserve, and facilitate access to films of historic significance that haven't been collected elsewhere. Included are films produced by and for many hundreds of important US corporations, nonprofit organizations, trade associations, community and interest groups, and educational institutions. Getty Images represents the collection for stock footage sale, and over 2,000 key titles (now increasing to 4,800) are available here.

Founded by Bill Rasmussen,[1] his son Scott Rasmussen and Aetna insurance agent Ed Eagan, it launched on September 7, 1979, under the direction of Chet Simmons, the network's President and CEO (and later the United States Football League's first commissioner). The Getty Oil Company provided funding to begin the new venture via executive Stuart Evey.
