The sequel is coming from inside the house! That's right, one of the oldest pop culture tropes finally gets a sequel! This feature is a parody and contains the original movie combined with comedic commentary by Mike, Kevin and Bill from MST3K.
RiffTrax: When A Stranger Calls Back
Scared Stiff Horror Cinema Defining the Horror genre, exploring typical tropes and motifs, such as the haunted house, monsters, zombies and serial killers. Also looking at the principles and logic behind the horror film – some sort of transgression (knowing something not supposed to know) leading to terrible consequences. Questioning why we watch horror films – cathartic enactment and overcoming of society’s worst nightmares. Thus the sociological interest in horror films – and how they portray society’s fears, varying according to the age.

The story concerns a young woman called Rachel Verinder who inherits a large Indian diamond, the Moonstone, on her eighteenth birthday.
The book is widely regarded as the precursor of the modern mystery and suspense novels. T. S. Eliot called it 'the first, the longest, and the best of modern English detective novels'. It contains a number of ideas which became common tropes of the genre: a large number of suspects, red herrings, a crime being investigated by talented amateurs who happen to be present when it is committed, and two police officers who exemplify respectively the 'local bungler' and the skilled, professional, Scotland Yard detective. Let's Play is a collection of videogame playthroughs with commentary (either text or audio).
Let's Play videos show the videogame being played while the player talks about what he is doing in real time commentary (sometimes just with text). Generally the playthroughs are spread over several segments of play (varying in time). Rarely some action is done "off screen" or speeded up to not get too repetitive, but in most cases the playthrough is a complete run of the game including all "Game Overs" and deaths. The videos are usually a humorous way to learn about a videogame without having to play it. For a more informal description and list of other Let's Play resources, see TV Tropes.
This collection is currently contributed from the Let's Play Archive. This mainly focuses on the Something Awful Let's Play! forum.
If you have any contributions to make to this collection please contact Simon Carless, the Internet Archive's curator attached to this project, at simon@archive.org

Next time the show will revolve around Rouge’s Double Dead Guy Ale, so scrape up some for drinking along if you can find it. And if you happen to be a fan of horror fiction, especially of the podcasted variety, crack open/download your favorite novel or short story and get reading/listening.
