Rolling Stone: Life And Death Of Brian Jones
The Fearless Freaks is the most intimate portrait of a band youre likely to see as heartwarming and heartbreaking as the bands music itself, said Bill Crandall of Rolling Stone. Beesley captures the Flaming Lips deep-set Oklahoma roots with never-before-seen home movie footage and Coyne family photographs. Performance footage begins with the bands early punk/noise phase, and continues throughout the years as the bands shows become increasingly avant garde. At any given Flaming Lips concert, there may be puppets and light shows, animal suits and theatrical blood, balloons and confetti, or even a gigantic, Coyne-inhabited plastic ball, and all are represented in Beesleys film.

Each week (for three years running) GWC's geek hosts jump into new material, becoming fans and passing on the experience with the help of what's widely recognized as the friendliest community in science fiction and fantasy. Rolling Stone magazine called GWC "the NPR of BSG," and Howard Stern agreed, describing GWC (and geeking in general) as a "guilty pleasure."
Past topics include The Guild, Alien, Eureka, Eve Online, Star Trek, Terminator, Star Wars, Battlestar Galactica, Firefly, Serenity, Dr. Horrible, Tron, War Games, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Cosmos, Avatar, Batman, Transformers, X-Men, Iron Man, Mass Effect, SyFy and sci-fi programs, individuals such as Will Smith, Felicia Day, Joss Whedon, and many more!

John Lennon: The Rolling Stone Interview
Originally named for being "the radio show for people who feel like hell in the morning." The show features hosts Kerry Jackson, Bill Allred, and Gina Barberi, all Utah natives.
Radio From Hell is the longest running radio program in the Salt Lake City-area market, and is consistently one of the top-rated programs in the area. The hosts take great pride in making Radio From Hell an alternative to what they see as cliched, formulaic syndicated morning shows; the show and its host station have earned praise from outside the Utah region: Rolling Stone cited KXRK as one of the top-five rock and roll radio stations in the U.S., and singled out Radio From Hell as one of the longest-running local radio programs in the U.S.
